A New Year :)

If these dudes on ESPN would quit talking about the Patriots and humble pie, I wouldn’t have had to stop my packing to bake a pie.(Isn’t it ironic that I am going to the liquor store to get me packing boxes?) I did however, have 2 big juicy granny smiths and a Pillsbury pie crust. I did happen to have some oranges to fresh squeeze and some spices to use up. I didn’t have any raisins to add though:(. Last night I prepared some pizza topping: ground beef, onions, huge mushrooms, lots of grape tomatoes, and some sauce. I have some Trader Joe pepperoni to use up. And that bag of frozen dough balls for rolls, that were to be for Christmas, will now make a lovely pizza crust. YUM. I have been invited to a New Year’s Eve party given by one of my Jazzercise friends. Their house burned partially down this spring, and it is rebuilt and new and in the fancy part of Woodstock. I have a great outfit to wear, and only myself to worry about.(If ya know what I mean.) I’ve been going to my Al-Anon meetings and they help me alot. It’s nice to have people to call and talk to who have been there. I’m scared and excited, happy and sad, but I think every thing will work out as it should.
